Terms of use
Version 0.1 · 7 November 2026These terms are between [LEGAL ENTITY NAME AND COMPANY NUMBER] ("we", "us") and the scaffolding business that signs up ("you"). We provide software that lets you give your customers an instant quote.
1. The service
We give you a quote page in your business name, priced from the price list you enter, a dashboard to manage the requests that come in, and related tools. You set your own prices and you are responsible for them being correct.
2. Cost
- There is no monthly charge.
- We charge a fee of 2.5% of the quoted job price (before VAT) on every job that was quoted through the app and then booked. We take it from the customer's deposit when the deposit is paid through the app.
- Payment processing (Stripe) has its own card charges.
3. Jobs quoted through the app
Jobs quoted through the app must be booked through it, so the fee can be collected. You must not avoid the fee by taking a job that was quoted through the app outside it.
4. Term
The minimum term is 24 months from signup. After that the agreement continues until either of us gives 30 days' notice. Fees on jobs quoted before the end remain payable.
5. Your responsibilities
- You must be a genuine scaffolding business, and hold valid public liability insurance and any qualifications the law and your customers require.
- Your contract for the work is directly with your customer. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for the work.
- The prices, availability and descriptions you give must be accurate.
6. Our liability
We provide the service with reasonable care but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Ending
We may suspend the service if you break these terms or put customers or the service at risk. Your data can be exported on request.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Privacy
We take the privacy of you and your customers seriously. This is a summary of what we collect and why.
What we collect
- From you: business name, your name, email, phone, password (stored as a hash), prices and settings.
- From your customers, when they ask for a quote: name, phone, email, postcode, job details, and any photos they upload.
Who is responsible
For your customers' details, you are the data controller and we process them on your behalf to provide the quote service. For your own account details, we are the controller.
How it is used
- To produce quotes, show you your requests, and contact customers about their job.
- Photos may be analysed by an AI service (Google Gemini) to help describe the job. The customer confirms the result before it is used.
- We use trusted providers for hosting, email, maps and payments (such as Stripe). We do not sell personal data.
Keeping it
We keep data for as long as needed to run the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You and your customers can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold, and can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].
